Prof. (Dr.) Surajit Ghosh Dastidar

Dr. Surajit Ghosh Dastidar has around 20 years of experience in research, teaching, and industry. He started his career as a software developer for DPS Technologies and was the Chief Data Scientist for a startup working for clients such as Microsoft. He has done his MBM from Dept. of Business Management, Calcutta University and PhD in Network Optimization. He is an SAS Certified Predictive Modeler and was awarded the SAS Faculty Scholarship in 2019. He has published in journals like Journal of Statistical Software, International Journal of Business Analytics, and Intelligence among others. He was a Visiting Scholar at the College of Business, University of Toledo (USA) and has completed summer school in Data Science from London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). Dr. Dastidar is a seasoned instructor, having taught a wide range of data science courses and tutorials for over two decades.

Dr. Mahesh Ramalingam is an Associate Professor in Marketing area at IMT Hyderabad. He teaches big data Analytics, Analytics using SAS, and Data Analysis for Decision Making. He began his career as Market Research Analyst, where he worked on Big Data Analytics and Predictive Modelling using R and Python. His primary areas of interest are service quality and customer behavioral intention outcomes. His other work includes development of metrics to evaluate marketing decisions (e.g., customer segmentation, purchases, returns). He has conducted workshops and FDPs related to scale development process, multivariate data analysis, covariance based structural equation modelling and partial least squares structural equation modelling among others.

Aariz Faizan Javed has done his Engineering in Computer Science from Manipal Institute of Technology, Manipal. After that he worked with Mahindra Comviva. He has completed his PhD is from IIM, Ranchi. His area of interest lies in applications of AI in Marketing and Human Resource with prime focus on Text Mining, Sentiment Analysis, Web and Text analytics, Topic Modelling, Natural Language Processing, Market Segmentation, Social Network Analysis and Recommender Systems. He has presented his work in the doctoral Symposium at IIM Kozhikode and various others International Conference like Northeast Decision Science Institute in New Jersey, USA and other conferences like Strategic Management forum and international conference on Business Analytics and Intelligence. His teaching interest are in Business Analytics, Information Technology for Managers, Management Information Systems, Retail analytics, Text Mining and Predictive Analytics, Marketing Analytics, Customer Relationship Management, Social Media Analytics.

If any participant doesn't fulfil any of the above criteria, will be eligible for “Certificate of Participation".
