Immersion Program at IIM Sirmaur
Experience being an IIM Campus Immersions
Campus immersion is a crucial part of the program experience, which requires learners to attend activities and sessions on the IIM Sirmaur campus.
Participant will have the opportunity to experience classroom environment where they can learn from esteemed faculty at IIM Sirmaur, participate in peer learning, and engage in presentations and project work.
During the summer of 2025, a few of the courses are likely to be completed in the IIM Sirmaur campus. The exact dates and schedule shall be communicated in due time.
Subsidized accommodation and food shall be provided in IIM Sirmaur campus. However, participants are required to bear the cost of travel including local travel during the campus immersion modules.
Please be aware that due to unforeseen and sudden circumstances, the campus immersion may be subject to cancellation or postponement. This could be due to future emergency circumstances or government-issued advisories related to COVID-19.

Dr. Urvashi Rathod
Associate Professor at IIM Sirmaur
Dr. Urvashi Rathod is a Professor in IT and Systems area at IIM Sirmaur. She holds a doctorate from Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani. She has an experience of 36 years in industry and academia including working with IIM Indore for five years and an entrepreneurial stint of seven years in software industry. Her industry-oriented research has been published in high impact journals, cited extensively and recognized by peers internationally. She has received research grants from the organizations such as IBM and PMI-USA and has collaborations with internationally acclaimed researchers. She teaches Management Information Systems, Digital Transformation, Agile Software Development, Business Agility, Technology Management and other courses related to information systems and technology.
Dr. Ram Kumar Dhurkari
Associate Professor at IIM Sirmaur
Dr. Ram Kumar Dhurkari is an Associate Professor in the Information Technology and Systems Management area at the Indian Institute of Management Sirmaur. Prior to his current position, he was affiliated with the IFMR Graduate School of Business at Krea University, SDMIMD Mysore (accredited by ACBSP and EFMD EPAS), and TAPMI Manipal (accredited by AACSB). Dr. Dhurkari is a Fellow of the Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode. He holds a master’s degree in computer application from Rajiv Gandhi Technological University Bhopal and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Devi-Ahilya University Indore. Before embarking on his doctoral program, he contributed as an Academic Associate at the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad and held a position as a Lecturer at SGSITS Indore. He teaches courses on information systems, e-commerce, business intelligence, data mining and cloud infrastructure.
