Immersion Program at IIM Sirmaur
Experience being an IIM Campus Immersions
- Campus Immersion is a crucial part of the program experience, which requires learners to attend activities and sessions on the IIM Sirmaur campus.
- Participant will have the opportunity to experience a live classroom environment where they can meet and learn from esteemed faculty of IIM Sirmaur, participate in peer learning, and engage in presentations and project work.
- During the summer of 2025, a few of the courses are likely to be completed in the IIM Sirmaur campus. The exact dates and schedule shall be communicated in due time.
- Subsidized accommodation and food shall be provided in IIM Sirmaur campus. However, participants are required to bear the cost of travel including local travel during the campus immersion modules.
- Please be aware that due to unforeseen and sudden circumstances, the campus immersion may be subject to cancellation or postponement. This could be due to future emergency circumstances or government-issued advisories.

Assistant Professor at IIM Sirmaur
Dr. Kiran Kumar Paidipati is working as an Assistant Professor in the Area of Decision Sciences at IIM Sirmaur. Prior to this, he served as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Statistics, Lady Shri Ram College for Women, University of Delhi, New Delhi. Post-Doctoral Fellow and completed Ph. D. in Statistics from Pondicherry University, Puducherry. As an academician, he has more than 10 years of teaching and research experience. His research areas include Statistics, Stochastic Modeling, Operations Research, and Data Science. He has taught subjects such as Business Statistics, Probability Theory, Quantitative Analysis for Management, Financial Statistics, Data Analytics with R, Advanced Analytics, Predictive Analytics, Machine Learning and Deep Learning Techniques with R – Programming for graduates, post graduates and practitioners.
Dr. Manish Sarkhel
Assistant Professor at IIM Sirmaur
Dr. Manish Sarkhel is working as an Assistant Professor in the Area of Operations and Supply Chain Management at IIM Sirmaur. Prior to this, he has worked as an Assistant Professor at Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar (XIMB), T.A. Pai Institute of Management (TAPMI) & Woxsen University, Hyderabad. He has also been a visiting professor at IIM Amritsar & XIMB. Dr. Manish Sarkhel has completed his Ph.D from IIM Indore. He has taught subjects such as Modelling with Spreadsheets, Project Management, Python Programming, Artificial Intelligence Using Python, Data Analytics Using Python & R, Financial Analytics Using Python, Excel, and Visual Analytics Using Tableau & Power BI. His research interests lie at the intersection of Financial Market Interlinkages, Artificial Intelligence, Non-linear Programming and Networks.
Dr. M. Pachayappan
Assistant Professor at IIM Sirmaur
Dr. Murugaiyan Pachayappan working as Assistant Professor in the area of Operations and Supply Chain Management at IIM Sirmaur. He holds a PhD degree in Operation Management from Pondicherry University and having over eight years of teaching and research experience. His research areas include Generative-AI applications in the Logistics Industry, Quick commerce delivery systems, Drone Logistics Models, and AI algorithms in the transportation industry. He has taught courses such as Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Service Operations Management, Supply Chain Analytics, and Business Analytics. Renowned for his expertise in AI-driven solutions, he consistently enhances operational workflows and supply chain processes, driving progress in the digital transformation and AI landscape with strategic insights.
